About me

¡Hola!

¡Hola! My name is Mariluz and I am a teacher from Spain. I am currently living in the south of Spain and I have been living and working in different countries in Europe. One of my biggest passions are languages, I really like learning them and the sense of achievement when you get to communicate with others in their languages. It really is a way of opening your mind about other cultures and ways of living. That is why I have spent most of my live studying languages and figuring out the best and fastest way to learn them.

With this blog I would like to share my experience teaching my mother tongue, Spanish, and share with anyone interested in Spanish my own lessons, texts, tips and tricks in learning this beautiful language.

BEGGINER TIPS

The best way to learn a language is by fully inmersing yourself in it. Nowadays it is easy to do it thanks to Internet. You can watch youtube videos and movies, listen to podcasts or find a language partner or a chatmate to exchange conversation. Everything you do is right if it helps you to get used to the new structures of the language.

Languages are codes for our brain, we understand our mother thonge because we already know its code. So when we become submerged in a new language, our brain starts to create a new code. That is why it is very important to learn it without translating all the time to our mother tongue, because we don't want our brain to decode the new language, we want to create a new language code.
